Welcome to My Career Plan. I am Raffaella and I help students turn uncertainty into opportunity.
I created My Career Plan because I understand how it feels to be overwhelmed by career choices, pulled in different directions and anxious about what the future holds. Whether your child is choosing subjects, exploring careers or feeling stuck, I believe every individual deserves a plan that's personal, practical and empowering.
With a background in psychology and being an independent practice psychometrist, I love understanding people and helping them to be the best version of themselves.
My mission is to empower others through informed decision-making, personalised planning and on-going support. I believe in the transformative power of self-awareness and strategic career development to unlock long-term success and satisfaction.

What makes my career guidance approach unique?

Comprehensive and data-rich assessments - The testing process can be long, but I don't like to merely rely on one psychometric test. The more data I collect, the better the insights, resulting in a detailed 20+ page report to guide decision-making.

Personalised, human-centered recommendations - I take time to observe, listen and integrate multiple sources of information, including parent input and the student's preferences to provide meaningful, customised recommendations. This is not done by AI!

Parental insight and understanding - As a mother myself, I understand the concerns and hopes that parents have and approach each consultation with empathy.

Online psychometric assessments for convenience - I work with students across South Africa. While I am happy to meet in person, many families find that online sessions offer greater flexibility and help reduce anxiety for students by allowing them to complete assessments in a familiar environment.

Experienced and registered professional - I registered as an independent practice psychometrist in 2007 and have worked with many individuals over the years. My practice is rooted in professional integrity, up-to-date methods and a commitment to my clients.
