How soon after testing can I expect feedback?
It usually takes a few days to a week to receive feedback. Integrating all of the information and writing a comprehensive 20 page report can take time. I will always do my best to accommodate an urgent needs.
Will the study skills course improve my marks?
I can't guarantee higher marks but I can guarantee that your child will learn proven techniques to study more effectively, properly manage their time and approach learning with greater confidence. This often leads to improved performance. Click here for more information about study skills.
Do you only assess high school students?
While I primarily work with high school students, I also often assess university students seeking career guidance, as well as adults who feel stuck and want to explore new career options.
Can you pass or fail the tests?
No, there is no pass or fail. The purpose of the testing is to understand your unique strengths, interests and personality. It is about building a clearer picture of who you are so you can make informed decisions about your career.

Can you accommodate groups?
Yes, for both career counselling and subject choice guidance, I can accommodate groups or school grades. Please click here to contact me for more information in this regard.
How is payment made?
Once your session is booked, you will receive an invoice.
50% payment is due before testing begins.
The remaining 50% is due before the feedback or study skills session. For any further questions regarding payment, please e-mail me.

What happens in the assessment?
You will answer questionnaires regarding your interests, preferences, motives and values. These can be completed in your own time. The aptitude test is timed and must be completed with me online. It looks at your natural ability to learn and perform a specific task.
Do I need to prepare for the session?
No, you do not need to prepare for the assessment. It is however important that you are not feeling tired or stressed beforehand. For this reason, mornings are better, especially when doing aptitude tests.
Are you available to assess on weekends?
Yes, I am available for appointments on certain weekends. Please enquire in advance.
